The Robotics Club is a competitive team that meets every Tuesday after school through Family Night and Thursdays after school until 5:30 We meet in Room # A-4. The club is organized by Mr. Taylor and Mr. Beyer. This is a McClintock Middle School and CLC collaboration.

Our Goals:

- Students will have a practical understanding of engineering principles, data collection and problem solving, symbolic language, physical computing and programming, robotics and teamwork.

- Students will demonstrate all the above by being able to solve challenge-based problems by constructing LEGO or similar materials, or by building and programming with the LEGO Mindstorm robotics platform.

- Students will engage in real-world problem solving and public speaking activities.

- Students will gain and apply STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) based skills.

FIRST LEGO League

We are programming and building the LEGO Mindstorm NXT-G. The students will be developing and practicing skills using the LEGO Mindstorm NXT-G. We will be competing in the First LEGO League(FLL) competitions this school year in the fall. For more information on the LEGO Mindstorm NXT-G and FLL:
